he afternoon)
Lawang Sewu is one of the historical building in Semarang that located at the cross of Tugu Muda Monument. This building is known with the big number of door. Until now, there’s no any official information exactly about the sum of the door. If there’s people who counting the door, the result will be different with each other. That’s the reason why this building called Lawang Sewu by the Semarang citizens. After that, the building that owned by PJKA [Train National Company] known as sacred building. When the Dutch colonial era this building used for train office, but, in Lawang Sewu the slaughtering of human hapenned on the Japan’s occupation era.
Ok, we back to the story. I with my 9A Rockstar friends after acara berbuka puasa (and reunion) on past Ramadhan 1430H, planned to sightseeing Lawang Sewu. I’m with pleasure agreeing the invitation because I never visited Lawang Sewu after 6 years. This is the first time I sightseeing Lawang Sewu in the night.

With riding motorcycle from Waroeng Steak in the Imam Bonjol (behind of the second house of writer) to the Lawang Sewu only taking time approx. 3 minutes. Because the writer didn’t have a motorcycle, so he ride in his friends motorcycle
Finally, we’re reached the “expediton” location. In my mind, Lawang Sewu only crowded in the holiday session. But, in the weekend is crowded as carnaval. Simpang Lima pun kalah. Beside Lawang Sewu, Tugu Muda that located across Lawang Sewu is same. Mostly people (especially teenagers) spend their time for narsis dan nongkrong. Before we enterred Lawang Sewu, we took the picture.
(Took picture before expedition)
Because Agra have plan with his girlfriend for join this “expedition”, so he with his motorcycle topsy-turvy to took her near Java Mall. 45 minutes passed. One from us “dissapointed” and have initiative to began the expedition without Agra. Finally, the person we waiting for is came.
Because to enterred Lawang Sewu must pay the pass (and for pay the guide), so we contribute each other, each person gave 5000 rupiah. Before we enterred Lawang Sewu, I heard the story (myth) from one of my friend if there’s someone who had “moon came” are prohibitted to enter Lawang Sewu. Some of us (especially girls) was frightened (finally, that myth can’t be proven!). At 8 pm sharp, we began our expedition.
Our guide suggested to hand-in-hand each other for not lost. When we enterred Lawang Sewu, there’s lot of hardware. Yes, because Lawang Sewu on the mainenance and on the next year this building will be use for PJKA office. Unfortunately, we’re can’t see the beautiful mozaic glass in the stairs

(We’re always stay close for preventing somethings bad)
Now, the guide gave some expanation about some rooms and corners in the around. From here we can see Tugu Muda (althogh only the highest point. The expedition continued again. With the 2 flashlight, we still anxious. The lighting maybe not enough for accompany us. Even the writer still anxious. Some of us held the writer’s backpack for not lose.
(The guide while explained something)
When we passed the building that large enough, we asked to the guide, what building is it? “That’s WC building”. Yes, in the past, the Dutch construct some building and the WC is separated from mail building for not look. Now, we’re have a walk to accross many stairs mulai putar-putar. We felt confused and anxious.
“Wait...wait....don’t stepped quickly.”
“Why?”
“The ash will be slow down us”.
(There’re many stairs that must we allow)
Finally, we’re rached the 3rd floor. We’re invited to the one of the room. In this room, there’s roof foundation made from iron that deceived the bullet when Pertempuran 5 Hari.
“You can see, there’s blood in the wall”
“Where...?”
“There”
“EEEE..........”
“Relax, that’s just fake blood that used in shooting procced”
Exactly, Lawang Sewu often used sineas for setting in their film. The film that placed on Lawang Sewu are Merah Putih, KCB, and AAC. After that, we’re go to the balcon. We can see Tugu Muda very clear and beautiful. So we took the picture with Tugu Muda as background

After satisfied with the photo, we move to the big room
“In the past, when Dutch colonial era, this room is used for diner. But in the Japan’s occupation era this room is used for murdering some people.”
(to be continued...)
